ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರ ಭಾಷಣದ ವರದಿಗೆಂದು ಇಂದು (05-05-2018, ಶನಿವಾರ) ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ತುಮಕೂರಿನ ಮಹಾತ್ಮಗಾಂಧಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅನಿರೀಕ್ಷೀತವಾಗಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರೂ, NDTV ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರೂ ಆದ ನವದೆಹಲಿಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಣಯ್ ರಾಯ್  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prannoy_Roy  ಅವರ ಭೇಟಿ ಆಯಿತು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂತರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರಿದ್ದ 18 ಜನರ ತಂಡದೊಡನೆ ದೆಹಲಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಮೊದಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಬಳಿಕ ಕೆಲ ಹೊತ್ತು ಅವರೊಡನೆ ನಾನು ಚರ್ಚಿಸುವ ಸದವಕಾಶವೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಯಿತು. ನೆನಪಿಗಾಗಿ ಅವರೊಡನೆ ನಾನೂ ಫೋಟೋ ತೆಗೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೂ ಆಯಿತು. ಅವರ ಸಜ್ಜನಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಹಮ್ಮುಬಿಮ್ಮುಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಮ್ಮೊಡನೆ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದು ಖುಷಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು. ನನ್ನೊಡನೆ "ವಿಜಯವಾಣಿ"ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಗನ್ನಾಥ್, "ಪ್ರಜಾವಾಣಿ"ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮರಡ್ಡಿ, "ದಿ ಹಿಂದು" ವರದಿಗಾರ್ತಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿ, "ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರಭ"ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಉಗಮ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಇದ್ದರು.  

Prannoy Lal Roy is an Indian economist, chartered accountant, psephologist, journalist and author. He is the executive co-chairperson of NDTV and is considered to be one of its co-founders, along with his wife Radhika Roy. NDTV was the first independent news network in India.
